Bongo & Bongoz Amigo

A large Pomeranian sized Pom-Chi, Bongo weighs in at a whopping 16 lbs of attitude.

BongoGirl and Bongo Dog train and compete in Agility (Superdog) Competition. Bongo flys over jumps, through tunnels, tires and chutes, races across beams and ramps, and weaves through poles.

 

 

Bongoz Amigo A Chihuahua sized Pom-Chi weighing just 6 lbs and standing 10" tall. Amigo enjoys his role as BongoGirl's Diva Dog. He travels in his own stylish bag, and has an extensive wardrobe. Amigo has no desire to do any sort of physical activity other than his strenuous duties as official Lap Dog. He enjoys first class travel and playing with his big brother Bongo.

 

Chica Rosita a.k.a. "The Diva"     Chica Rosita is BongoGirl's beloved, beautiful, amazing quarter horse.     The Diva is an AQHA registered mare. She is a foundation line, 1994 incentive fund mare. As with most registered horses, she has a "stable name", as well as her registered name. Her AQHA registered name is "Eccos Of Bold Step". She is out of Dynas Ecco by Bold Major Step. Her grandsire "Sonny Dee Bar" was recently inducted into the AQHA hall of fame. She is 9 years old, stands 15 hands high and is chestnut (sorel) in colour.   Passion for Riding BongoGirl rides four to five times per week - often with Bongo Dog running alongside as they explore the wilds of Eastern Ontario with her posse of cowgirls. Chica Rosita is boarded at Pebblestone Farms, owned by Terry and Sue Betts. The Diva has lived there since she was two years old, and Terry Betts is her trainer for western pleasure and penning.   BongoGirl and Chica Rosita also train and compete in the rodeo sport of Team Cattle Penning. The two divas love working the cattle. Other than performing and singing, there is no greater thrill!     Team Penning Competition Every Sunday that Bongogirl is not performing, she will be competing in the Eastern Ontario Team Penning Association From May through October the weekly competitions take place in Coddrington, Ontario - near Belleville. Jackpots and other competitions take place throughout the province, from Ottawa to Markham. From October through to May, the competitions take place at her home stables, Pebblestone Farms in Bowmanville.
